Welcome to the Woodmen National Convention blog site. There is still 88 days until the convention starts on July 26, 2009, but that doesn't mean we have nothing to talk about.
Woodmen holds its national conventions every four years. This will be the 46th convention. The last national convention was held in 2005 in Omaha, Neb.

I am so thrilled to be part of this year's Youth Leadership training sessions -- this will be the first time Woodmen has held a Youth-focused event to align with the convention. I am one of the facilitators and I can assure you we have worked very hard to bring the best possible training to our attendees.
Historically one of the best investments Woodmen of the World has made is in our young people. I cannot wait to begin seeing the positive affects of this new investment in schools and communities all over the nation.
If you are reading this as a student ambassador -- get ready....we are going to have alot of fun and be very busy.
If you are reading this as a member -- get ready.....these ambassadors are going to start changing the world!
