I've just been watching Zeus and Hera. What a hoot! Zeus is on the eggs and Hera is on the edge of the box. She obviously wants back on, but Zeus is tired and doesn't want to get up. She paces and paces and occasionally squawks at him. Finally she bops him with her wing. But he remains on the eggs.
When they finally make the switch, I can see that there are now three eggs. Check out these photos of the drama. You can see her scar on her left wing.
Check out the photo gallery for more images.
On April 4th, Saturday at 1:46:23pm on Camera 6 you can see there are 4 eggs! I saved the picture as an image file on my computer!

I think we might have a falcon in west Omaha. I live at basically 99th and Maple. I have seen a raptor, smaller than the red tailed hawks we have at work at 165th and Maple, numerous times around the house. I got within five feet of him on Sun. Feb. 15 when he was in the tree directly above my driveway. His mate was in the pine tree about 20 feet away yelling at/for him. Anyway they are there all the time, if a real expert wants to come out and take a look! Feel free to e-mail me and I'll give more details. Thank You.
