It's a lovely day in the neighborhood...

...Hera is busy making nest and Zeus is busing having breakfast on the east ledge.

Spring Cleaning 2010

For those of you watching Thursday afternoon, you may noticed cameras going on and off line and a lot of human hustle and bustle around the nest. That was just us doing a little Spring cleaning ... falcon style.

We cleaned lenses, focused and repositioned cameras to give you the best view of the upcoming falcon season. We even had our window washers replace the damaged overhead camera inside the falcons' east nest. Check out our FalconCam page for the latest images.

So now its up the Zeus and Hera. They have been sprucing up their nest the past few weeks and hopefully we will have some eggs soon.

Are they nesting?

Last week the box looked flat inside, but yesterday I noticed that the pebbles had been arranged into a "bowl" and there were many feathers on the right side. It's so nice to see Zeus and Hera fixing up the nest box. This will be their fifth season together.
