I wondered if the recent hot and muggy weather would be enough to make Zeus and Hera think about leaving. But today I saw both of them and they looked fine. Hera didn't want any part of having her photo taken; she flew off. Zeus is pretty much used to the camera and people. He sat there and "allowed" me to get in some great shots. I've been noticing them in the north box camera lately. I guess that is where the most shade is.

Several weeks ago we saw one of these beautiful birds in our bird bath in Papillion. Today, Sep. 6, 2009, one of them has visited us twice.
