In case you missed it, late Wednesday all four falcon eggs hatched! Here's a glimpse of mom and her new babies.
Newly-hatched peregrine falcons are called "eyas". If you are lucky, you can see mom and dad feeding the young in the morning and afternoons.
The first egg hatched around 4 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, and the remaining eyas followed close behind.
Very happy to see that all four chicks have hatched.
However, the pic above does not show Mom with the chicks; the parent in the photo is Dad, Mintaka.

Do you take the young before they are ready to fly to a safer place with their parents? I was watching the last brood and all of a sudden they were no longer in the nest. Can the fly away safely from that high altitude? I enjoy watching these beautiful birds...so peaceful.
Tnx, Pat
